Community is a key foundation of Lighthouse for Life. Not only do we rely on our community partnerships, but we want to do all we can to help our communities grow in their understanding of Human Trafficking and the role they can have against it.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of both fund-raising and awareness events that we would love for you to join. Many of our events are put on by Lighthouse for Life, however, at times we partner with others as well. If you have an event you’d like us to be a guest, please contact us!
Giving Tuesday, often stylized as #GivingTuesday for purposes of hashtag activism, refers to the Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving in the United States. It is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. Giving Tuesday was started in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation as a response to commercialization and consumerism in the post-Thanksgiving season (Black Friday and Cyber Monday).
Lighthouse for Life would be honored if you would give a minimum gift of $15.00 this season.
Any gift made given between NOW (designated as such) and GIVING TUESDAY will be allocated to purchase and install an electric generator at the safe house.
This electric generator will ensure that at no time (during a storm or any other incident) will the safe home security system ever go off-line.
We have already received about $600 in gifts towards this necessary purchase. Thank you for helping meet this critical safety need.
To give just go to our homepage and click on the "Donate Button" or mail your check to
